Nulife NPL Newspaper
Nulife hosted the Nulife Premier League, a 7 aside, inter-corporate Football tournament on 15th. and 22nd. March at Ansal's University grounds at Gurgaon. It was a fund-raiser, to generate funds for our new Disha centre at Tikri village. Totally ten corporate teams participated to fund the noble cause - Michael Page, Serco (A), Serco (B), Nestle, Google, Fractal Analytics, Silverskills, Free Agents (I), Free Agents (II) and Delhivery. We are grateful to Hindustan Times who was our Media Partner and Puma who was our Merchandise Partner. Our Chief Guest was Mr. Amit Bhatt - voted as one of the top five most influential person in the NCR.

Free Agents (I) won the tournament, followed by Michael Page who was the runner-up. The Golden Glove award for best goal-keeping went to Gaurav from Free Agents (I), the Golden Boot for the highest number of goals went to Shashank from Google and Golden Ball, the best player, went to Shailendra from Serco.


Nulife Inter-NGO Sports Day concludes with much fanfare

The Annual Inter-NGO Sports Day,organised on 8th February by the Nu Life Foundation Charitable Trust, located in Malibu Towne, Gurgaon , ended on a refreshing note with participants relishing each and every moment of the day. Not only did the children associated with the participating NGOs, enjoy but the audience and the Guests of Honours appreciated the confidence, joy and exhilaration exuded by children who come from impoverished backgrounds. This time around 400 children participated in the annual event; a huge jump from last year’s number of 170.

Nu life Charitable Trust took the initiative to organize this event to spark the spirit of sports among these marginalised children and inculcate the habit of playing. Children of two Disha primary schools and two Government primary schools supported by Nulife participated. Two other NGOs ,Jagriti-The Banyan Tree and the Radiant Kids, who are also associated with the education of the underprivileged children, also joined hands Children of all age groups participated in a number of activities like the Relay Race, Caterpillar Race, three-legged race, lemon and spoon race, Dog and the bone, biscuit race, sack race, Kabaddi and Kho-Kho to name a few.

The Guests of Honour were very inspiring. Gurgaon Municipal Ward 26 Councillor Mr. Rajinder Kumar Yadav and Ward 30 Councillor, Ms. Nisha Singh, boosted the children’s confidence and praised their spirit to fight against all odds and shine in games. They also distributed four revolving trophies and prizes to the children They spoke about the importance of sportsman’s spirit, hard work and persistence to achieve whatever one wants in life. Mrs Nisha Singh stressed the importance of education to the children. Meals were served to all after the event.
